We identify societal needs where LIDAX EOS can develop a unique solution through an innovative product in the field of complete and functional systems.
We value the results of the research activities conducted by our scientists working in R&D centers and universities. These researchers seek to collaborate with LIDAX EOS to develop applied technology demonstrators that can address identified problems.
There is a global issue due to the age and lack of maintenance of civil infrastructures (bridges, viaducts, and tunnels).
This creates a growing demand for auscultation technologies and services that have a significant impact on maintenance strategies, safety, and result in substantial cost savings.
To address this problem, we are working on an advanced system known as SISTAM. This system utilizes protected technology for deep inspection to examine civil infrastructures, meeting the demands of the maintenance and conservation services sector for bridges and viaducts.
We are a team that combines experience, knowledge, and a passion for applied technologies, systems engineering, and innovation.
Our key focus is on identifying unmet market needs communicated by our clients, which serve as our starting point for developing unique and sustainable solutions, always as a team.
Since 2007, Jesús has served as a project and management leader in R&D programs, first in the aeronautical sector and later in aerospace.
Since joining LIDAX Engineering in 2010, he has held roles such as business development manager, R&D project manager for developments with the Agency ESA and the EU, and finally, as commercial director.
In 2023, he was appointed General Manager of the start-up LIDAX Electro-Optical Systems, where he continues to drive innovation projects in collaboration with R&D centers to empower the company in electro-optical systems engineering, development, and commercialization.
With over 18 years of experience, Jesús brings a blend of technical and managerial skills to achieve set objectives, with SISTAM being the company’s most significant project currently.
With over 30 years of experience in the space sector, Carlos began his career as a mechanical engineer at INTA on space missions like INTEGRAL.
In 2000, he co-founded LIDAX Engineering SL with his partner, where he played key roles such as Commercial Director, Financial Director, and General Manager.
In 2023, he delegated the general management of LIDAX Engineering to Stefano Li Bassi to establish entities like LIDAX Electro-Optical Systems and LIDAX Group SL, which serves as the group’s parent company.
From LIDAX Group, he oversees the companies’ strategies, assuming their financial function and consolidating their position to lead innovation, group growth, and investment towards new horizons.
Doctor in Physical Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), he has an extensive career that includes foreign stay at leading institutions in metrology and innovative instrumentation for basic research.
During his stays at top-tier R&D Centers such as CIEMAT and CEA, he has led cutting-edge research projects in the design and characterization of ionizing radiation measurement devices, as well as in improving dosimetry techniques for various high-precision detectors.
Before joining as Technical Director, he worked as a principal investigator at the Henri Becquerel National Laboratory (CEA) in Paris.
His experience and knowledge will enable the high-impact and high-value technological development of the SISTAM product, driving innovation and growth at LIDAX EOS.
